It is factory-direct, so there is no dealer markup, and it is backed by a warranty of up to 15 years.

All aluminum, start to finish — no wood core and no vinyl. Frames use heavy-wall 6063-T5 aluminum profiles with a continuous thermal break, a factory powder-coat or anodized finish, and an SUS304 stainless steel track system.

Gladiator Window & Doors is headquartered in Jacksonville, Florida. Our all-aluminum doors are built to our upgraded Gladiator specification by manufacturing partners overseas with more than 25 years of aluminum production experience, then custom crated and shipped to our warehouses in Florida and California. Sales, support and warranty are handled by our own team here.

Large-format aluminum bi-fold patio doors, multi-slide sliding glass doors, pivot and swing front doors, folding pass-through windows, casement windows and aluminum pergolas — for residential, commercial and contractor projects.

A bi-fold folds and stacks to one or both sides, so almost the entire opening clears. A sliding (multi-slide) door has panels that glide past each other, so part of the opening always has glass in it. Sliders cost a little less; bi-folds give the widest open view.

Bi-folds generally run about 15% more than a sliding door of the same size, because of the extra panels, hinges and folding hardware. We are happy to quote both so you can see the exact difference for your opening.

Dual-pane 6mm insulated glass — double-tempered, argon-filled and Low-E coated — is standard on every door. Many brands quote thinner 5mm glass or charge extra for the upgrade. Other glass packages are available on request for privacy, solar or acoustic needs.

Thicker glass flexes less on wide panels. Less flex means less stress on the edge seal of the insulated unit — the part that fails when glass fogs — and a heavier lite blocks more outside noise. Yes. A thermally broken aluminum frame, argon-filled Low-E insulated glass and a multi-seal perimeter keep heat transfer and drafts down. Our doors carry NFRC-certified energy ratings and are California Title 24 compliant when properly specified. Ratings for each product are on its spec sheet.

A thermal break is an insulating polyamide strut that separates the inside and outside of an aluminum frame. Without it, aluminum carries heat straight through the frame and can sweat with condensation. With it, you get the strength of aluminum with far better comfort and energy performance.

A multi-seal perimeter and a hidden drainage system manage water at the sill, and a recessed track option with a built-in drain is available. Proper flashing, drainage and an overhang at the opening matter too. Note that flush or ADA sills are a design trade-off and are not warranted against water intrusion.

Yes — powder-coated aluminum and SUS304 stainless steel tracks are built for humid and coastal climates. Salt is hard on any hardware, so rinse tracks and hardware with fresh water at least every three months, and more often near the ocean. Custom-color and anodized finishes carry shorter terms within three miles of saltwater; see the warranty for details.

The traffic door locks with a keyed multipoint lock that engages at several points along the frame, and each folding panel has its own shootbolt that locks it into the head and sill. Double-tempered insulated glass is standard.

Yes. Every door is made to order to fit your opening — custom widths, custom heights, your color and your configuration — with no custom-size fees.

Our standard listings run from about 6 to 32 feet wide, in heights from 80" to 144", and anything in between can be built custom. See the sliding door panel chart for common configurations.

Ten factory finishes, including powder-coated and anodized colors and two wood-grain options — Walnut and Pear Wood. Finishes are applied at the factory, not wrapped in a film, so dark colors are built the same way as light ones.

A low-profile track is the standard upgrade on every door. A recessed track with a built-in drain, a high track and transition ramps are also available, and a nailing flange (nail fin) can be added for new construction.

Yes. The screen we quote is a retractable screen built into the frame, offered as an option on most doors. Screens installed on the interior carry a 5-year warranty. Integrated blind systems are also available.

Yes. The main traffic door on our bi-folds opens on its own for everyday use, then folds and slides with the other panels when you want the whole wall open.

Every Gladiator door is built to order. Lead time year round is about 10–12 weeks for West Coast orders and about 12–14 weeks for East Coast orders.

Large doors are built to your exact opening, color and configuration, so you receive a brand-new unit made for your project — not one that has been sitting in a warehouse in a size that almost fits.

Shipping on standard orders is free, fully insured and delivered to your address.

Each order ships in fully enclosed custom wood crates: one holds the frame and another holds the panels. Glass is already mounted at the factory and hardware is pre-drilled and test-fitted, so nothing is flat-packed. Two people can unload the crates.

We use private, insured carriers instead of common freight networks, so your crates stay on one truck from our warehouse to your site instead of being unloaded and re-handled along the way.

We have warehouses in Florida and California and ship nationwide. Larger projects can also be shipped internationally.

Your tracking link shows when the order leaves production and when it is due, so you have time to line up help. Have two people available to unload, photograph the crates before they come off the truck, and note any visible damage on the delivery receipt before you sign.

They arrive ready to install, not as a kit: frames are assembled, glass is mounted, and hardware is pre-drilled and test-fitted at the factory. A qualified installer following our install guide and local code can set them faster than a door that has to be built on site.

Spec sheets, CAD and DWG files, track details, glass data and installation manuals are free on our Downloads page, no form required. After you order, your tracking link also holds every document for your specific door, ready to share with your contractor or installer.

Our doors are bottom-hung: panel weight rides on the sill track, not the header, so the header is not carrying the door. Every opening still needs a header framed to code for its span, and your rough opening should be confirmed against the spec sheet for your size before framing.

Rinse the tracks, rollers and hardware with fresh water and a mild detergent at least every three months — more often near saltwater — and keep a note of when you did it. Wipe frames and glass as needed and check seals once a year. Hardware warranty claims require proof of maintenance.

Coverage runs up to 15 years from the ship date: insulated and laminated glass 15 years; folding and sliding hardware, weather seals and standard paint finish 10 years; multipoint locking mechanisms 5 years; interior screens 5 years. Read the full limited product warranty.

Damage from improper installation or building movement, water intrusion from building design, coastal corrosion and finish limits within three miles of saltwater, misuse or field modification, and labor or freight costs. Every exclusion is written out in plain language on the warranty page.

Yes, once. If you sell the home, coverage transfers to one subsequent owner and continues to run from the original ship date.
